How to import from South Korea to Philippines

If you want to bring in anything from Korea for your personal use or for business, importanything.ph can take care of it for you.

Loose cargo shipments from Korea

If it’s loose cargo, which means any shipment that’s not big enough to fill up an entire container, you only have to go to importanything.ph/ship-now and follow the quick and easy process.

Basically, you’re just going to forward the appropriate shipping link (which is just a URL) to your supplier. When they access the link, they will be provided all the shipping instructions they need such as how to prepare your package and the address of our warehouse in Korea.

Once the cargo has reached out warehouse, they don’t have to do anything else. Neither do they have to provide anything for customs. From there, we will take care of everything and just notify you when your shipment has cleared BOC and is ready for pickup at our warehouse in Quezon City.

Once you’ve settled the fee, you can claim it, or have the cargo shipped to anywhere in the Philippines. No need for an import license or any regulatory paperwork.

Full container shipments and shipments of special cargo

We handle full container or FCL shipments differently but it’s nonetheless very easy. You only need to provide us with a copy of the proforma invoice and packing list from your supplier, and with those we can compute for you your total importation cost.

The process is the same for special cargo – which is a broad term we use for anything that we cannot process through our standard end-to-end service. Example of these is anything that is too sensitive and you wouldn’t want bumping around in a container with a bunch of other items.

There are two ways to go:

A. Your supplier handles the export process and we take care of the importation

B. We handle both the export and import processes

You just let us know which one you and your supplier prefer. We can proceed either way.

Paying your supplier

Your supplier in Korea will want to get paid first before they ship your product.

Using our payment service, you can pay your supplier with just few clicks. No need to go to the bank and undergo their KYC process, or worse, have to go through opening a USD account just for that purpose.

What if you found out about us too late and now your shipment is stuck in customs?

No worries, we can take care of that as well. A number of our customers actually find us after being burned in their first attempt at importation. Their supplier and the shipping company they used did not notify them that YOU have to deal with the BOC and that “shipping” only pertains to the movement of the cargo out of Korea to the Philippine port.

If you have cargo being held at customs, keep in mind is speed is essential. You need to act, and you need to act NOW. But relax, you only have to fill up the form at https://importanything.ph/customs-clearance/ and we’ll handle the rest.
